Kralj je zapovjedio velikom svećeniku Hilkiji, svećenicima drugog reda i čuvarima hramskog praga da iz Svetišta Jahvina iznesu sve bogoslužne predmete što bijahu načinjeni za Baala, za Ašeru i za svu nebesku vojsku. Odredio je da sve to spale izvan Jeruzalema u poljima kidronskim, a pepeo je odnio u Betel. (2 Kraljevima 23:4)

És megparancsolá a király Hilkiának, a fõpapnak és a másod rendbeli papoknak és az ajtóõrizõknek, hogy az Úr templomából hordjanak ki minden edényt, a melyet a Baálnak, az Aserának és az egész mennyei seregnek csináltak, és megégeté azokat Jeruzsálemen kivül a Kidron völgyében, és azok hamvait Béthelbe vivé. (2 Királyok 23:4)

Karalius įsakė vyriausiajam kunigui Hilkijui, antros eilės kunigams ir vartininkams išnešti iš Viešpaties šventyklos visus daiktus, skirtus Baalui, Ašerai bei dangaus kareivijai. Jie buvo sudeginti už Jeruzalės sienų, Kidrono slėnyje, o jų pelenus išnešė į Betelį. (2 Karalių 23:4)

Därefter bjöd konungen översteprästen Hilkia och prästerna näst under honom, så ock dem som höllo vakt vid tröskeln, att de skulle föra bort ur HERRENS tempel alla de redskap som voro gjorda åt Baal och Aseran och åt himmelens hela härskara. Och han lät bränna upp dem utanför Jerusalem på Kidrons fält, men askan efter dem lät han föra till Betel. (2 Kungaboken 23:4)
