Hy het weggedoen met die afgodspriesters wat die konings van Y’hudah aangestel het om wierook te brand op die hoë plekke in die stede van Y’hudah en in die omgewing van Yerushalayim en ook dié wat tot Ba’al, tot die son, die maan, die sterretekens en die hele leër van die hemel wierook laat opgaan het. (II KONINGS 23:5)

Người cũng đuổi những thầy cả của các tà thần mà những vua Giu-đa đã lập, đặng xông hương trên các nơi cao trong những thành Giu-đa và tại các nơi chung quanh Giê-ru-sa-lem; cũng đuổi đi những thầy cả dâng hương cho Ba-anh, cho mặt trời, mặt trăng, huỳnh đạo, và cả cơ binh trên trời. (2 Các Vua 23:5)
