Daniel 7:11
I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. (Daniel 7:11)
Was slain.
This represents the end of the system, or organization, symbolized by the horn. Paul presents the same power under the title “man of sin,” “son of perdition,” “that Wicked,” and speaks of its destruction at the second coming of Christ (2 Thess. 2:3-8; cf. Rev. 19:19-21).
Great words.
 See on v. 25.
I beheld.
In prophetic vision Daniel saw one event rapidly following another.
Note the repetition of the statements “I beheld” and “I saw” throughout the narrative of the visions. These clauses introduce the transition from one scene to the next.
